Mark Stewart - General Manager
 

Mark Stewart brings over 20 years of senior automotive industry management experience to Assist Australia.

Mark's automotive career commenced as an engineer and scientist where he worked closely with vehicle manufacturers and distributors, before moving into the National product management and brand marketing role for Dunlop & Olympic Tyres.

Mark's subsequent success in business unit general management saw him appointed as General Manager of Dunlop & Olympic Tyres for the Australian region.

Mark is a great advocate for lifelong learning having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science, a Masters of Business Administration and he is currently completing a Masters of Applied Finance.

As the General Manager of Assist Australia, Mark has a strong commercial and customer focus, and a vision for excellence in the delivery of automotive services. With the support of the Australian Auto Clubs, Mark has developed a strategic direction for Assist Australia that now sees it at the leading edge of service development in this key sector.

 

Robert Phillips - National Sales and Marketing Manager

Rob Phillips has an extensive career in the automotive and motoring industry spanning some 20 years. His expertise in sales and marketing ranges in areas such as the car rental and fleet management/lease markets, evolving into a business development role providing solutions for Australia's blue chip automotive clients.

Originally joining the RACV in 1990 and creating opportunities within the fleet market for RACV member services, Rob developed various tailored products and services for the national vehicle manufacturer and importer market.

In 1993, Rob was appointed as Business Development Manager of the Australian Automobile Associations (AAA) - Business Development Unit which formed the foundation of what is today - Assist Australia.

Rob has been with Assist Australia since 1996, when he was appointed the National Sales & Marketing Manager. Rob has provided innovative services for the automotive industry with Assist Australia, and continues to build on and add value to the strengths of Assist Australia's clients.

 

Paul Caldera - Commercial Manager

Paul Caldera has extensive experience in accounting and commerce achieved across a range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality and the service sector.

Paul is responsible for strategic business analysis and the financial administration of Assist Australia.

He is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Sri Lanka, Chartered Management Accountant in the UK and Certified Practising Accountant in Australia. Paul holds a Master of Business in Accounting from Monash University.
